I had two instances on Wednesday where my sister could have seen something that pointed towards me being a trans woman.
Firstly, a skirt I ordered from Amazon was delivered. Unfortunately it had the name of the company, and its website, emblazoned on the wrapper in large letters - BeJealous.com. The company only sells clothes designed for women, and anyone visiting the website can clearly see that. OK, well it's unlikely she'd visit the site, and the name at least isn't anything obvious. So no worries on that score, probably. However also on the package, printed on the address label, was the name of the item inside. Fortunately this has been abbreviated somewhat it reads
Scuba Panl Skrt Crs/24-26
At least "skirt" isn't written in full but it would hardly needs a genius to work it out.
I am hoping that either she didn't look beyond my name at the top of the label, or that she didn't have her glasses on, and so wouldn't have been able to read it. Here's to that hope.
Secondly, in a rush to get downstairs to visit the bathroom, I only destuffed my left side and not my right. I got downstairs and was in the middle of chatting to my sister when I noticed. Fortunately for me I was wearing a baggy black t-shirt over it all, as I normally do. It is very good at covering up everything underneath, in particular bra straps still showing underneath other clothes. I think that my right boob didn't stand out too much behind the black shapeless top. Fortunately the conversation was held at a bit of a distance, and not face-to-face. I highly doubt she noticed, certainly there was no reaction at all on her part.
The first clue, well that was a risk I knew I was taking. It is the first time that anything delivered to my home has given any clue as to what might be inside. However my second, that was sheer carelessness on my part. Had she noticed, that would have been very awkward. If nothing else, it looked ridiculous as the right side didn't match the left. Though I have every intention to come out at some point, I wish to do so in a planned manner, and not by accident.
