I haven't had one just like that, but I have had a pregnancy dream. Although as I remember it, that part almost took second fiddle. It was a fair while ago, but from what I recall the basis of the dream was that it was discovered that through some sort of immaculate conception I had become pregnant. But at the point of the dream, the 9 months was up and somehow neither I nor anyone else had realised that was what was going on. So I was in a hospital being told this was what was happening. And the doctors were like "well obviously the baby needs to come out, and you currently don't have an exit, so we're just gonna give you SRS so that the baby has something to come out of. And my reaction in the dream was pretty much "ok, that's cool. Well obviously now it's happening through a medical need, so that will avoid all the difficult conversations that would have occurred if I'd had it done by choice. Yay"
So... ya-know, your perfectly standard cis dream and reaction lol!

Lol wow! So weird!
The only dreams I have even close to that are ones where I am caught dressing by my wife or parents, and they are supportive and I end up transitioning.....more realistic I guess?

I initially read that as "wife or parrots", and after thinking that I didn't remember you mentioning any pets other than your dog, I went into this kind of daydream rabbit-hole of wondering whether with parrots being quite intelligent and able to speak, they could potentially out someone. Like I was imagining that you walked into a room whilst dressed up, forgetting the parrots were in there, they saw and then said something suspicious, inspired by what they'd seen, to your wife. And that's why you were worried about them catching you. Then I reread it, and it at once became far more mundane and far more sensible.

I like your version a lot better! The parrots know what is best for me hahahahaha! That sounds more like a dream.
Now that you've put it in my head I'll probably have that dream now haha.
