Hi I just wrote a reply to one of Jessica's thread, but I've seen that it may have fitted better here in introductions ADDENDUM 23/6/21 Ignore the bit about it being a kink, I've since discovered that it just isn't true. It isn't a kink. closetedtransgirls.proboards.com/post/67/thread

I didn't put so much personal info in that first post so in addition to that..
I'm 52 and terminally single. I live in England, in a small terraced house with my older sister and her adult son. My brother lives in Australia with his New Zealand wife. They have twins, a boy and a girl who became adults last year. I became an orphan at a young age, my father died when I was 8, my mother when I was 25.
I've only just accepted the fact that I'm not cisgender. Coming on here was the turning point and that was only 2 days ago. So it's a bit tough for me at the moment. I've already received a lot of support here, and it has genuinely helped. I feel I can come on here and express how I feel without reprisal or judgement. Thanks again to Jessica for creating this site.
The name Woori comes from a tale of being frustrated by cis norms. Some time ago in the days of Xbox 360 there was an avatar outfit I liked the look of, a Wonder Woman costume, but of course I couldn't buy it for my male avatar, but I really wanted it and had to have it. Therefore I created a female account for myself. I immediately bought the costume and put it on my girl avatar, who looked really pleased and happy to be wearing it. As pleased as I would have been if it was on me and not her.
Part of that account's username was Woori. That name came from my favourite member of a Kpop girl-group Rainbow, there were 7 of them, and she was the orange one. She was my favourite because apart from her good looks and performing talent, I really liked her personality. She had an odd sense of humour, and was willing to sacrifice her beauty and appearance for entertainment. It was that commitment to comedy over her Kpop idol looks that particularly impressed me.

Hello woori, Nice to know you. Woori is a nice name. Thank you, it's a Korean name. It's pronounced Oori, but that's not how it's spelt using the western alphabet I've always thought that Chloe is a pretty name, it has a nice sound when you say it.

Chloé is a french name which comes from greece. It means newborn grass. I have a japanese friend who told me that french language gives the sound of a soft river with no hard sounds.

The south, all my life, my parents were from the south and so were their parents before them What about yourself? Same, depending on your definition of south lol. About 30 minutes north of London. I spent 3 years in the north at university where everything under Birmingham was classed as "the south", apart from one girl there who was from Devon, who reckoned anything above London was "the north" 😂

It is odd how it's so different depending on where you're from. Meanwhile the Midlands is thinking "Am I a joke to you?"

Gotta ask you Brits if you are into soccer/football at all? I am a big soccer fan. My avatar is Alex Morgan, star of the US women's team.

Hi, I’m not really into soccer, I played rugby and I love this game. The only soccer which stays interesting for me is women soccer because the values are real and I live near Lyon, very famous in european women ligue. The funniest is when my children play FIFA on Xbox, they very often choose women teams especially US one and french team

Just never got into any sports like that - racket sports were always what I went for as I was quite good at them. It's very telling at the moment especially, with the Euros happening right now. Like the other day, I could hear all my neighbours cheering the match, and I was sat reading wedding stories and feeling despondent that I won't ever get to be a bridezilla. A definite moment of "yeah... I'm just not quite like most other people am I?" 😂
