Gotta ask you Brits if you are into soccer/football at all? I am a big soccer fan. My avatar is Alex Morgan, star of the US women's team. I am, I don't watch quite as much as I used to though. I've been a Liverpool supporter since late '70s, but I've only been to the city once. I've been to a few games here in my home town, and been up to Scotland with friends a few times to watch their team play I've been watching Euro 2020 that's on at the moment, but have been somewhat sidetracked by my personal development this week. Do you just support the US national teams, or is there a club side you support too?

Hi, I’m not really into soccer, I played rugby and I love this game. The only soccer which stays interesting for me is women soccer because the values are real and I live near Lyon, very famous in european women ligue. The funniest is when my children play FIFA on Xbox, they very often choose women teams especially US one and french team I am a big supporter of the US women's team. I have traveled to see them play. I also support the men, but the men are so bad. I actually prefer to watch the women play. They're a better team and simply more fun to watch.

The US team (men and women) are my favorites for sure, but I also am a pretty strong supporter of Tottenham Hotspur and my hometown Sporting KC in MLS. Although MLS is a crap league unfortunately.

Why Spurs in particular?
Just to say I'm not from Liverpool, and neither are any of my family, so I was just a glory hunter, they were winning everything year in and year out back then. I've forgiven my 9-year old self who just lost his dad for supporting them though, the poor kid needed something good in his life.

Just never got into any sports like that - racket sports were always what I went for as I was quite good at them. It's very telling at the moment especially, with the Euros happening right now. Like the other day, I could hear all my neighbours cheering the match, and I was sat reading wedding stories and feeling despondent that I won't ever get to be a bridezilla. A definite moment of "yeah... I'm just not quite like most other people am I?" 😂 So with you there Maria, last night while the football was on, I was shopping for pretty dresses and cute underwear.

I mentioned it on my "Just Sharing Feelings" thread, but I gave my female side a name, Woori-Mei. Mei is the name of the woman in my avatar. I see a lot of my female side in her, both in looks and personality. Woori didn't quite fit, but Mei was too short, so I combined the two. I think it sounds nice together as well.

I didn't follow the English league until I was in my late teens in the mid 2000s. At that time it was all about the "Big 4" being Arseholes, Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea. I wanted a team that was competitive (it would be real hard to follow a relegated team in the US, especially at that time) but I didn't want to pick one in the "Big 4" which felt too easy. Now its considered the "Big 6" including those 4 and us and Man City but I didn't know that at the time haha!
