Wasn't sure whether to put this thread here or in the main fashion area. As it makes a more general point I put it here. I've been wearing one particular t-shirt a lot this week. So much so it now feel's like a woman's t-shirt now. I don't feel as uncomfortable wearing as I do with other guy clothes. Having just checked the item online, it is acutally sold as a unisex item, but I had forgotten that. I think the design helps, it's from Final Fantasy V for those that know about such games. Equally my tracksuit bottoms that I've also been wearing often this week, now feels at least unisex if not actually for a woman. Also having my hair tied back feels more comfortable, more womanly. To start off with I preferred it hanging loose. I think that this all shows a subtle but noticable change in how I view myself, obviously less like a man and more like a woman. Anyone else experience something similar? xox, Woori-Mei

I don't know that I would say any of my male clothes started to feel like female clothes if I'm honest. There are ones that feel a bit more androgynous, perhaps, and I would say those ones probably get the most wear.
I am the opposite when it comes to hair too. If it's tied back in a braid then that feels feminine, but other than that having it loose feels far more womanly. I don't know if that's because I associate having it tied back with "guy mode", whether it's because I'm conscious that having it not framing my face makes those tell-tale "masculine" features more prominent, or whether because being able to see it out the corner of my eye and feel it on my shoulders is like a comfort thing, reminding me that "yes, I am female". Probably a mix of all 3.

I would say that both my t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms are androgynous. I'd been thinking that the t-shirt was for men-only but when I checked on the store the shirt is for any gender, they had used both a man and woman as models for it.
I think I'm the same with my hair too, preferring it loose. It's just that before tieing it back felt more like the act of putting of a mask, whereas now it doesn't.
With both of these things it's more the fact that I'm feeling that way. It's that these show a gradual change in how I view myself, that this isn't how I was feeling two weeks ago.

Well I do have some clothes that I sometimes find it easier to imagine are women's clothes.
I have a pair of running tights that I like to wear. Obviously only during the winter can I pull that off (we are having the opposite....a heat wave in Cali right now). I also prefer boxer briefs because they feel like women's short shorts when I'm not wearing them. There are a couple pair that don't have holes in the front which I really like. I also have a couple pairs of shorts that I can stick both legs in one leg and they work like a skirt pretty well.
But I have never had anything that has morphed into the feel of a womens item from being a mens that I can think of.
