As you have probably noticed I've changed my avatar from the cartoon Woori-Mei to a "real" photo. I took a few selfies in bed this morning, and got some very good results from Faceapp. Here's the full version of the image used. I quite like this because it shows my grey hair. Though it does make me look a bit too young, I am in full make-up here I tried using the aging filter, but it made me appear much older that I actually look in real life. I didn't quite see me in that older woman either. I'll be sharing more of this morning's "photoshoot" sometime soon.

Faceapp should be mandatory for girls as us. I recognize you very well, now we are 4 to have open not only our mind but also out face and body. great avatar. 💋

I seemed to be having problems with putting too many images into one post, so split them up into two. I have used two filters on all of these - the second feminine filter, and the basic make-up filter. i also added glasses to those where I wasn't wearing any.

Here's some more photos from this morning. I like this set of photos because you can the see the proper shape of my face much better in them. I am curious to know how you think I look without my glasses compared with when I am wearing them. I have just put in thumbnails as this post would be too big otherwise, but please click on them to see the full image. Great pics. Downright sultry.

Got to say that today I really wish I looked like how I do in those photos, that my avatar was a real photo of me. When I was out on Sunday, before it all went pear shaped, I studied my sister touching up her make-up at the bus stop, trying to get some clues. As you might expect we have very similar colouring.

I am sorry I don't fully understand what you mean Sandi Mae. What type of clues were you looking for?

Just clues to perhaps do my own make-up, nothing deeper than that

Oh gotcha. Did you learn anything good? I really suck at makeup. I honestly don't even usually try at this point.

Not really to be honest. I think it was more that it was the first time that I've watched while trying to learn. Before it would have just been out of curiosity. As it would only be for me to see in the mirror I'm not that motivated to start wearing make-up. With my appearance I feel that dressing up and/or using Faceapp filters is enough for me at the moment.
Since I've come here I've spoken to my sister a lot more than before, and our closeness is now more apparent to me. I think it's because I've reduced the size of the male mask I wear when I'm with her. For example I've noticed that in this last week I've talked to my sister about girl stuff a few times. I am very taken with the idea of being her little sister, and for her to really see me as that.

I've actually started playing around a little with some eye makeup recently. I am pretty terrible at it still, although the last time I tried I was quite pleased with the result. I actually took a couple of photos, but they didn't really do it justice. I have found though, that because even when done quite poorly it is slightly demonising, even though most of the time I can't see it, it makes me feel good about myself because I know I look more feminine. Which I never understood when I'd hear girls say it (or similar) before, but now I totally get it. I'm glad your relationship with your sister has been impacted positively

Oh God, I just proof read that after posting it (I'm very tired lol...)
It should say feminising, not demonising 😂 I'm not THAT bad at doing it lmao

Your talk of eye make-up has reminded me that I have long eyelashes, and so should finally put them to good use. I know, I know, how has my beauty remained undiscovered for so long Perhaps some mascara for me then. Other than that I think lipstick would make me feel more feminine. I sense a need for a make-up section, but not sure there's much knowledge or expertise between us all, unless Chloe has some hidden knowledge on this. I bet Francie would know being a glamour model and all. I like to imagine she's been away with her new sugar daddy.
