You could be an inspirational example for chubby girls everywhere: "Think you're too big to run? Look at me, I'm doing it!" But after all that I wouldn't be chubby any more would I? Did you not stop and think I might be happy being this way? Why does everyone deny me who I truly wish to be? First the leggings and now this! As if cis oppression isn't already enough. <sniff>

Where do you get them from?

I usually just google what I am looking for. In this case I googled "girls hugging gif".

If I took you all to a baseball game...... Haha. My oldest friend moved to Denver at the end of last year, and went to her first baseball game over the weekend. Sure enough, there was the obligatory selfie...

I went to America when I was 15. I went to Oakland and San Francisco. I was in a baseball family. Then they took me to 2 games, A’s vs yankees and I don’t remember the other one. I remember that it was very long, almost 4h and the lunch on the parking whith their friends before the game and that we ate a lot. For a french girl, US eats too much, we don’t have the habit to eat so big quantities. But it was great, I took some weight.

This gif/video is pretty famous in baseball circles as an example of the ditzy baseball girl who doesn't care about the game and is just there to look pretty. Although I don't really think it is fair. It was a college sorority group outing. Baseball games are long, and they probably aren't baseball fans and were bored so they were entertaining themselves. It says more about the game than the girls in my opinion......

Honestly, I like college football more than the NFL (although I watch both). If you go to the right college game there is more pomp, circumstance and atmosphere than any NFL game!

The parking lot meal you describe is called "tailgating" and its an awesome American tradition. It is usually more connected to football (American football not soccer) than baseball, but is sometimes associated with baseball too. For NFL and college games fans will come hours early, bring grills and grill out and eat and drink in the parking lot for literally hours before the game starts and they go into the stadium. It is actually one of my favorite things to do. Baseball stadiums are typically (but not always) built more in the city directly than football which are out in the suburbs with big parking lots. Most baseball stadiums are in areas with lots of bars and restaurants so fans will hang out at the bar before and posssibly after the game. There is also usually a lot of good food and beer in the stadium at baseball as well. It is one of my life goals to go to every Major League Baseball stadium and see a game. I am actually pretty close!

It breaks my heart to say this but I can't see myself visiting the US anytime soon, if at all.
Though I haven't visited there as such, I did see a lot of the country from high above in an airplane. I got quite a close view of Los Angeles too, even saw the Hollywood sign. This was all travelling to and from New Zealand for my brother's wedding. His wife is from New Zealand, and there was far more of her family down there than the meager few up here in the UK.

But we are such a big country it is hard to really see in one trip. I live in California but I hardly ever make it out to LA. I am surprised you could see so much from up in a plane! I do think I will get to the UK someday but not anytime soon with the little ones. I have a friend living there who is an American who married an English girl.
